Check out this step-by-step document on all of CHS's applying processes.
There is a 2 step process to request your official transcript for needed for college admissions & scholarships*.
Step 1. In Naviance, add the college into your applying to list.
Step 2. Log onto MyPaymentsPlus. Select transcripts. Each transcript is $2. Fill out form associated with transcript request. If you are ordering more than one transcript at a time, you will need to repeat the process for the number of transcripts you are ordering.
*If you are applying for a scholarship or you need an official transcript for something else, please skip step 1. Please pay for the transcript via MPP and indicate either where it should be sent to or that you will need a hard copy in hand.
New for the 2020-2021 school year: Families must fill out the Graduation Information Form in ParentVue. The form is now available. For instructions on how to complete this mandatory form can be found here.
Graduation information for seniors and parents is posted on the CHS website in the Spring of each year.
Information about graduation is distributed to seniors in their homeroom classes.
Seniors who intend to participate in the graduation ceremony are required to attend graduation practice in May. Information about graduation practices will be distributed to students and parents in the spring.
Students who intend to finish graduation requirements at the end of first semester of senior year and choose to not return to CHS for the second semester may qualify for December Graduation. Students should check with their post-secondary institutions as to whether or not this is advisable and then see their school counselor for more information.
To qualify as an Honor Graduate, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
SAT/ACT Scores for Zell Miller:
To have your SAT scores sent to Georgia Student Finance Commission for scholarship eligibility evaluation, a request may be submitted to College Board or call 866.630.9305. Select Georgia Student Finance’s score recipient code of ‘0472’ so that the report will be sent directly to the Georgia Student Finance Commission office. The request for an ACT score report may be submitted to ACT or call 319.337.1270. The ACT report should be mailed to the student's home address and the unopened report should be sent to Georgia Student Finance Commission at the address below.
